Ford has announced it will be updating the 2018 Transit Connect Wagon in an extraordinary way by employing Jim Belushi to talk about the qualities of the Transit Connect as the perfect transport for baby boomers.

New Engines for 2018 Ford Transit
Ford Transit Connect is going to get a new standard 2.0L petrol 4 cylinder engine with direct injection and automatic stop/start that replaces a 2.5L port-injected four. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, up from a six-speed, so performance and efficiency will increase with figures expected to be around 170 horsepower and 150 pound-foot torque.
While other engines which Transit offers include 3.7 litre V 6 making 275 horsepower with the torque of 260 pound-foot. Other optional engines include a twin-turbo 3.5 litre Eco-Boost V 6 produces 310 horsepower and 400 pound-foot torque and a 3.2 litre power stroke turbo diesel I-5 making 185 horsepower with 350 pound-foot torque.
Body Type of new Ford Transit 2018
Ford Transit 2018 was introduced with three different body styles and trims of Passenger Wagon XLT, Cargo Van and Passenger Wagon XL with roof heights of low 83 inch, medium 100 inch and high roof of 110 inches. Dual side sliding doors are available only in medium and high roof models with the capacity of eight, ten, twelve and fifteen sitting arrangement for passengers.
Now Ford Transit is offered with two wheelbases of 130 and 148 inches obtainable in three different lengths including regular 130-inch wheelbase with 126-inch load floor, long 148-inch wheelbase with 143.7-inch load floor, and extended length 148-inch wheelbase with 172.2-inch load floor.
Not only this but also few more updated and new features Ford introduces in a new model of Transit like front and rear black bumpers, chrome headlamp trim, cab clearance lights, rain detecting variable Intermittent wipers, front anti-roll bar, engine and gearbox oil cooler, high definition shock absorbers and lightly tinted glass.
