A charity drive has been launched by the award-winning campervan manufacturer to raise £25,000 for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. They are planning to raise this money within the next 12 months and for this reason they have chosen Ford Transit. This campervan is an ideal vehicle for families to go out on short breaks or on fun days.

Wellhouse is famous for its charity work and that’s exactly why, on October 31, they are planning a fundraising ball for hospice. They also have a marathon running challenge in the pipeline for David Elliott, managing direct of Upper Cumberworth. David said that they have always been pioneers in raising funds for charity and choosing a local charity has made them happy.

He also added that campervans are the best choice for families and when the idea of using them in the charity run came in, we were delighted put in our bit. The campervan will cover 280 miles in 10 days for Pedal for Pounds challenge in Huddersfield Town which supports the football club’s academy and Yorkshire Air Ambulance. These are some of the charity works David has been doing for a long time.

This time around they converted a new Ford Transit Custom which is the first campervan conversion in the UK. The interior has been modified to convert three-person rear seat into a double bed, a kitchen featuring sink, hob and fridge. An additional double bed has been put up in the pop-up roof for fun and comfort.
