Ford will give Santa a boost this year with new sleigh made out of Transit Connect

Christmas is one occasion that everyone waits so eagerly, kids love it because of the gifts from Santa. We always have heard that Santa rides a sleigh that is being pulled by four, six or ever eight reindeers. Those days are gone, now Santa will use an automatic mechanical sleigh, powered by Ford Transit Connect Engine rather than the reindeers.

This is a wonderful idea and this is what Ford has said about it on their official press release, “Santa Claus joins vehicle buyers who rate fuel economy their No. 1 purchase reason by selecting the all-new 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon for his next sleigh. Powered by EcoBoost with a projected 30 mph-plus, the Transit Connect Wagon sleigh will offer the industry’s leading presents per gallon (ppg) cargo rating.”

Ford Transit Connect offers great flexibility, front, rear and all-wheel drive options, it solely depends on the version you choose. The engine line-up is also flexible to pamper the needs of everyone and every business. In North America, Ford Transit Connect 3.5 litre EcoBoost V6 engine and in Europe, a 2.2-litre Duratorq TDCi diese engine is available.

The outlook of Ford Transit has also been revised along with the styling and bodylines, borrowed from different existing model. We are sure that Santa will enjoy his new ride.
