Legendary Ford E-series or Econoline was converted into the Transit, it is again shouting out with great confidence
Over the decade, the Econoline first introduced in 60s, remained largely unchanged apart from those two makeovers in 1992 and 2008 respectively.
In the first makeover, Ford has soften the edges of the body and in second makeover, it was squared back with cosmic changes to align the model with Ford pickups.
Ford Transit 350 XLT
Ford has built the 350 XLT with great confidence and given it a Ford Transit 3.5-litre engine. It is an EcoBoost engine, capable of generating 310bhp and 400lb-ft of torque from its V6.
This torque delivery makes it much faster than it need to be on the road. However, when the Transit covers more than a quarter mile in just 15 seconds while running at the speed of 88 miles per hour.
A Van can do drag racing
If you are looking to drag-racing, the 350 XLT is your thing, simply consider it but with traction control disabled. You can do massive burnouts with the Transit 350 XLT.
You can use the manual mode to shift the gears when in the hilly areas, the automatic mode do the trick with great job. It has exclusively great fuel economy figures and only a 60-meter stopping distance when moving at the speed of 70 miles per hour.
Transit has evolved the world
Several decade ago, Ford has evolved the world with the bold and brighter Transit van, a car like cargo carrier. It has outshined the SUVs, crossovers and even MINI pickup vans in the world.
It also has narrowed down the monopolistic competition in the world of full-sized vans. We have a bunch of Transits out there, with more than 350 trims and yeah, all of them are available in the market and still being manufactured.
